The Certification Process
The Certification Process with Platinum
Step 1 – Make Contact
Tell us about your business and what you need and timeframes to be certified. We will endeavour to provide a comprehensive quote to you within 2 business days.
Step 2 - Meet your dedicated Account Team
When you choose to engage Platinum, you become a part of the family. We will introduce you to the Planning Team and where possible your Lead Auditor. They will support you as you progress through the assessment of your Management System.
Step 3 – Document Review (Stage 1)
This is the initial review to ensure that your documentation meets the relevant criteria set out in the Standard indicators and modules. No actual evidence will be requested at this Stage.
Step 4 – Assessment (Stage 2) Certification or Verification
This will be either an on-site or remote audit. This is where the Audit Team will interview a sampled selection of staff and participants to ensure that documented processes are being adhered to. Evidence will be requested to ensure that processes are being put into practice. This will also consist of conversations being conducted with participants as their feedback is imperative to determining the quality-of-service provision by the organisation. Throughout the assessment the Assessors will add value by identifying potential weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
Step 5 – Celebrate!
At the successful completion of your Audit, our report will be submitted to the NDIS Commission. They will then review our recommendation, make an assessment of the application for registration and, once approved, issue a Certificate of Registration outlining the Scope of Certification. Time then to celebrate with your team and Stakeholders in recognition of the achievement!!!!
Step 6 – Let’s not forget….. Ongoing Mid-Term Assessments
Once you have undertaken your initial Audit and received your Certificate of Registration from the NDIS Commission, they will advise you when your next Audit will be. Typically, this will be within 18 months of your first visit. Within that time frame, we encourage you to review your systems and processes and maintain a culture of Continuous Improvement. Your forthcoming Audit schedule will be detailed on your Certificate of Registration.
